Thanks to watchful21 the truth behind all those Johnny's acronyms, etc. has been revealed (at least to me XD).
The BIG CONTAINER is Johnny's & Associates (aka Johnny's Jimusho). JE (Johnny's Entertainment) is ONLY a RECORD LABEL signed under JA/JJ. I've always referred to the whole thing as JE, but that is obviously wrong. JE is similar to J-Storm in concept. So, the official site for all Johnny's related stuff is johnny's net. watchful21 will post further details and a better explanation soon (in her next NEWS/Yamapi update post).

Anyho, the past 2 days have been all rainy and stormy. And yesterday I saw.. an aiaigasa situation!! ah, they were cute (I think they were about 9 years old). The girl was holding the umbrella, but they weren't as close to each other as the kids in the PV, and I doubt there were any hidden feelings there. But still, the whole scene reminded me of aiaigasa, and that was enough for me ^_^

I did some good work today I think. But there's so much I need to fix in the document I wrote and I'm getting all agitated, wondering if I'll make it in time ><;

But SOMEONE TELL ME! why is it that everytime CDJapan sends me an email about a limited Arashi single or album, and i immediately go check it out, i find it's already sold out !?!!!! same thing happened with Step and Go LE, which by the way seems to have magically reappeared now on the shelves! what, am I supposed to wait a coupla weeks AFTER the release to get the limited edition? it doesn't make sense !!!

OH! FORGOT THE BIG NEWS: THIS IS MY FIRST POST FROM MY NEW LAPTOP ^^ my beautiful Dell Red ^^ Core 2 Duo T7500, 13.3", 2.5 KG, 3 GB RAM, 250 GB HDD, GeForce 8400M, remote control, digital thumb print reader (couldn't careless about this last bit, but it's there!) so, yey ^^

Just a quick update to say I'm still here XD I'm behind on news again T__T

My listen-to-nothing-but-pacific phase turned into listen-to-nothing-but-Time !! XD I can't believe I didn't give that album enough credit when it first came out *complete fail* it was a weird period, I didn't even listen to it properly till a few weeks ago. And I loved almost every song on it ^^ yeah, it's tough to beat the record only NEWS (with pacific) has been able to achieve till now - me loving every single song on the album from the first listen ^^

I thought of this when news of Ohno's art show came out, but never got around to writing it. Arashi members have an interesting record of firsts within JE XD
Ohno - first to have an art exhibit
Sho - first to graduate university, and host a serious show, covering important events (elections, volleyball,..)
Nino - firsto to co-star in an award-winning movie
MatsuJun - first (Japanese I think) to be included in the list of beautiful persons (in 2007) in a western magazine (I can't remember which one it was ><' but it was an important one XD)
Aiba - first to have lions chasing after him and kangaroos kicking him where it hurts !! XD

interesting list, no? XD any other firsts for them you can think of ?
actually, thinking about it at the time made me feel quite proud of being a JE fan. An idol is someone you can look up to, someone you can get inspiration from, no? I'm sure a lot of people would criticize the use of the word "idol" to describe those guys, I myself would rather use another word to refer to them, but until such a word is found, I'm proud to say I'm a fan of those idols ^^

I LOVE TAIYOU NO NAMIDA!!!! XD and the PV is awesome ^^
on the other hand, Step and Go didn't excite me as much.
It's strange; overall I tend to listen more to NEWS, but Arashi are better at giving me joy and excitement when I watch them perform or host programs ^^ Yeah, NEWS are slowly getting there, ne ^^

PERSONAL HUGE NEWS!

I'm going to the US! now, the date of my departure sounded weird. I was sure I had something going on that day... it took me a really long time to figure it out! *OMG total fail* I'm leaving on March 8 _o_ why why why T_______________________T I hope I'll be able to get my new laptop before I leave so I'll be able to fangirl whenever I can find a wireless connection XD
anyho, I'll be back in Italy on the 17th. Going to a "dweeb fest" XD I'm not feeling too confident to tell you the truth, but I'll do my best to try and fit in. Oh right, I'm talking about a computer scientists' gathering to discuss some internet stuff XD (you don't need me to bore you with details). anyho, the trip is paid for so that's good. I still have to pay for my hotel and meeting registration beforehand (which will be later reimbursed) but that's a LOT of money -considering I'd only have a coupla months' pay in my bank account ><' at least I managed to get a credit card (;;^_^A
I might be able also to meet up with some highschool buds, and, most importantly, my bestest ever friend since we were like.... I can't remember XD maybe 7 or 8 years old. yay ^^ haven't seen those people in a REALLY long time ^^

OMG! i FINALLY got my notice yesterday to go get the CDs at the post office. "what CDs?" you might ask. Unbelievable but true; NEWS' "pacific" and "weeeek" !!! i got them this morning, but haven't opened the package yet, 'cause i'm at the CS department right now o(><)o. I was nstarting to get a bit worried, seeing as CDJapan sent me an email on November 5th saying they had shipped my order. Apparently, the package was stuck at customs since November 29 XD so, it took 24 days for the parcel to arrive to Italy, and then another 22 days from customs (probably in Milano) to my city (Livorno) -_- I also had to pay 12.58€ -around 18$- for customs to get those CDs ><.
I DON'T CARE! they're here for christmas!! this is my xmas present. I'm so happy! can't wait to open it and listen to the original CDs (since i've only listened to the mp3s till now. sorry, after one month passed i just couldn't wait any longer !! XD)

BTW, i was surfing CDJapan. I knew that purchases there always counted towards the Oricon charts, BUT i found out that it's only since Novembre that they've become an official Oricon contributor. [link].
That got me curious about the rankings... for the month of Novembre, pacific is at #2.... who's at #1? who dared snatch the #1 position?!!!! I couldn't believe it when i saw it. BSB!!! -_- oh well. Both Arashi and NEWS are in the top 50 for the year's album charts. that's good ^^

Did you watch this? it was just before YUI's performance, Takki was asked about the songs they'd just heard in the ranking, and he mentioned KinKi Kids'. He and Arashi in chibi days were backdancers. There's a little talk between Takki and Ohno kun.

I just found a hilarious video on johnnys_wa_ai. First i saw this was an imitation by Aiba chan (HEY!x3 2007.09.03 telephone box), and then half an imitation by Nakatsu (Hanakimi ep 10).

I'm talking about the comedian 小島よしお (Kojima Yoshio). It was a bit embarrassing to watch at first >//< but when the laughing kicked in everything else went out !!!

DREAM:

A few mornings ago. I was at an Arashi concert with a friend -probably a fictional person. At some point they called for a break, and the audience was getting scattered all over the place to go get some fresh air or sth (I know this is totally absurd, but that's how the dream went). My friend and I stayed put. We were sitting a few rows in front of a wide space that separated the stage from the audience. I was really tired (some truth sneaked into that dream, since I was really so tired the whole day that day, partly 'cause I stayed up beta-ing chapter 2 of mae_ai chan's My Life is My Fault fic till 4 am -which was totally fun, and the fic is really interesting so you should go read ^^) and I had my pillow with me. I was holding it in front of me, leaning my head on it sideways facing left. At some point Oono kun came out from one of the doors below the stage into the wide space infront of us. He came up to us, didn't say a word. Just sat infront of me, laying his head facing my same direction, but looking slightly upwards towards me. I looked at him, and without saying anything offered him my pillow, but he refused. My friend and I started talking to each other in English, then HE made a comment in English. I was like, "eh? Oono kun knows English? then we should speak in Italian so he doesn't understand what we're saying!" (now why on earth would I want Oono kun to not understand what I was saying! no scratch that, why on earth would I be talking to my friend instead of talking to Oono kun!!! >__<). I was about to say sth in Japanese when my friend cut me off and started chatting cheerfully with Oono kun. That's when I noticed Nino came out and was sitting a few seats away from us on the same row. There was smn else with him but I didn't notice who it was. I looked to my left once again and saw that my friend took off with Oono kun! >___< "Where are you going?" I shouted out in English. "To the guitar room" (like what is THAT!?!) O___O I was feeling a bit down because they left -kinda felt betrayed really- but then I turned right and saw that Matsumoto kun was sitting right next to me, with Nino next to him. I wasn't all dokidoki, but I was feeling the right amount of nervous when I find myself in situations in which I don't know what to say.. I think we started talking a little (in Japanese) but don't know how far we went 'cause I woke up o(>__<)o


MIND GAMES:

I was reading an MC the guys had on their 08.12 concert in Hiroshima on arashi.vox a few days ago. The following line appeared:

Nino: when I ride a plane going out of country there are lots of times Aiba chan is sitting next to me.

I literally read "Aiba" as.. MY NAME!! O___O ('cause by changing only one letter one gets my name. I never noticed that till that moment!) I was like, "Eh!?! who's A*** chan ? Why is it not me !!". Of course that lasted about 0.2 seconds when I realized it actually read Aiba chan >_< somehow more jealous of anyone who has my name and entered in contact with Arashi!

Then I read Aiba chan and Sho kun have been to the Vatican ! EEEEH !! WHEN !! T___T I'm sure I didn't even know they existed when that happened. bummer! oh well. I doubt they tell people where they go for vacation and such anyway.


MIND GAMES #2:

Change of group. A few weeks ago, when I logged out of hotmail, the MSN page came up, with an image of a baseball player. As soon as I saw him I excitedly thought, "YAMAPI!!!!" but then, "why would YamaPi be on the MSN page!?!". Of course it was just a normal baseball player, and my mind having fun messing with my head!



I know this is probably not a good sign, but I like the weird games a fangirl's mind plays ^^ It's fun, and interesting at the same time. ^^

took a trip over at Veoh.Com to check new videos, and there was this unusual one with Ninomiya Kazunari san all dressed up and the interviewer talking about red carpets and Clint Eastwood.. like, "OMG! that's right!" i had totally forgotten that he played a role in the latest Clint Eastwood movie that was nominated for an Oscar. (O_O;) baka baka !!

the dream this time had nothing to do with any Johnny's -thank God! i was starting to get worried!
it probably had sth to do with the news i saw the night before about the vulcano in sicily waking up. i dreamt that all of a sudden the earth under my feet was becoming all red cuz the lava was rising to the surface.. reminded me of the real life story movie about the vulcano erupting in the middle of california in the '90s (i think it was california). i remember trying to run, but thinking, even if i run away from this, the lava coming out of the vulcano will still get me. that's when i woke up. i lay in bed on my back.. i was still half asleep, thinking, if sth like that should happen, what would be the first thing i'd do? what would be the most important thing in my room i'd want to save?.. my laptop was the first thing that came on my mind! is that sad? after that thought i fully woke up and was like, what on Earth!
the next morning i literally woke up with one line playing in my head; "yume o mezasu", accompanied by the melody of course! "yume o mezasu" = to aim at the dream. from NewS' Kibou~Yell~
that was pretty weird. i think it repeated itself a few times in my mind.


ON ANOTHER NOTE:
HOW COULD I HAVE DONE STH LIKE THAT? i mentioned NewS on the 16.02 Music Station, but didn't say a single word about Arashi.. -_-;
