To my Italian buddies - and anyone else into Italian soccer
A friend of mine -a huge Azzurri fan- found a youtube video and asked me: Why is the Italian team singing this song, which seems to be a love song?

The song is Azzurro by Adriano Celentano. Youtube video under cut. I also added lyrics and English translation, just for the heck of it XD

il treno dei desideri nei miei pensieri all'incontrario va )

So yeah, anyone know anything ? Why was this song in particular chosen? Is it just for the word, "azzurro"? ^_^;;

On a side-note, those guys sing pretty well ne, considering they're football players and not singr. some sing better than some johnny boys XD

Oh and, sending out some happy and positive vibes to Cannavaro. He hurt his ankle pretty bad in yesterday's training, and looks like he won't be able to play at all in this European Championship T__T Capitano! come facciamo senza di te! ♥

Yamada Yu - Holla! (kanji romaji English-translation)
OK I lied !! XD I wanted to get this out of the way. It didn't take much to do this anyway, you'll realize right away why that is ^_^;
I changed my style this time; you've got the English translation right away ('cause that's the main reason for this post). Beneath it you'll find kanji & romaji in alteration.

note: holla = A colloquial phrase, slang form of "holler", used as a greeting, can also refer to talking, or flirting. [source: Wikipedia]

BIG NEWS: Oh-chan + Toma-kun & Switchfoot
[info]tenjostyle ♥ just confirmed the rumor that's been going around lately: Ohno-kun is gonna be the lead in a new drama this summer, together with Ikuta Toma \(^o^)/ This is his first time acting in a drama. I look forward to it (^_^)
Leader, Ohno, will be in a TBS Drama, "MAO" (Devil) starting in July. It airs Friday at 10pm. Ikuta Toma will also be starring.
This is a remake of a popular suspense drama from Korea last year.
Leader's character is a lawyer whose parents get killed and plots a revenge.

Toma-kun will play the police officer. Toma and Leader will share the lead role.

thanx to [info]buttrflikissr for the news (posted on [info]a_ra_shi)

On another note, I just found out that Switchfoot will be singing the theme for the coming Narnia movie (Chronicles of Narnia - Prince Caspian): This is Home.
It's a nice song:

[lyrics + tv] Utada Hikaru - boku wa kuma + talk on Doumoto Kyoudai
After listening to "Last Friends" theme song "Prisoner of Love", I was wondering what the rest of the album (HEART STATION - released 2008.03.19) sounded like, so I put it in winamp yesterday while working. Didn't pay much attention to it, until... a song about kuma came up!!! There is just no way a song like that can pass by unnoticed XD
So, even though it's quite a simple song, both to listen to and translate, I found it quite amusing so... (^^)

Note: divshare sometimes takes a long time to load media, so please be patient. It usually works fine with both FF and IE, but if your FF doesn't seem to load, you can try another browser, or click on the media links I will provide for easier access. sorry for the trouble (^^;)

Under cut #1:
-, lyrics (kanji, romaji, English translation)
-, MP3 of the song (5.54MB, 320kbps, 2:25 minutes)

-, video is AVI, 87.7MB, 640x360, 8:18 minutes (4 minutes interview, 4 performance)

NEWS - Bambina (missing part added)
[info]aishahsun made me notice the bridge (DUDE Tegoshi's part!) was missing in the lyrics post (thank you ^^). She very nicely upped the full version for me, and so.. I added the missing part ^^v (of course, kanji, romaji and translation) and took advantage to also fix a coupla things ^^;

The bridge is only 2 lines.. but those 2 lines broke me !!! (read the note at the end, where you can also find a link to down the full version of the song).
Here's the link to the edited lyrics: 壊れるくらいに いかせてやる

NEWS - Bambina lyrics (kanji, romaji, translation)
OK, I couldn't help myself. When I first saw the title in [info]news_jpop I was like, "eh? why are they talking about Arashi related stuff here? wait, this is BambinA, not BambinO... O__O eh? is this a new song? in the new single?" XD don't shoot me, I didn't remember the titles in the new single ^^;;

initial Romaji post (thanx to [info]valicch)
initial kanji post (thanx to [info]shinn89)
initial English bits deciphering thanx to [info]4_03_am

EDIT:I made some edits thanx to lyrics corrections pointed out by [info]shinn89 (who also edited her kanji post) and [info]mintcappucino.

MAJOR EDIT2: thanx to [info]aishahsun who made me notice THE BRIDGE WAS MISSING ><' Tegoshi kun, hontoni gomen m(_ _)m yappari, a 1-word line for Tegoshi in an entire song was just too weird! XD I also made 2 other fixes to the lyrics I'd already posted before: finally got the verb in the second line Yamapi sings right (and this one makes more sense XD) AND, it's "BIRIRI" (not "HIRIRI"). Both words have the same meaning, only the reading is different ^^;

EDIT3 -hopefully final:

I've edited the whole thing according to the official lyrics, that I was able to read thanx to the booklet provided by LuvYa @JPS (which by now I can also read from my own copy, YAY! XD).

Bambina in other languages:

Yuzu - eikou no kakehashi on Music Station 3-hour Special
Yesterday I finished watching the 3-hour Music Station Special (アゲウタ、ナキウタ Best 100x2). It took me 3 days to watch all that. Weird ranking I must say, but that's for another post (maybe). This post is about a performance I totally fell in love with. I'd already heard this song before (it was released in 2004), but I love this version a lot more than the single version.

I've uploaded the performance, and added full lyrics and rough translation.

SHOWTA. - negaiboshi
You thought I forgot about this didn't you !?! ^^ *points at a certain person*

No revealing of hidden projects, but.. I looked quite a bit for a translation of this song. All I could find was kana and romanization. I tried translating it myself, but I don't trust my limited Japanese knowledge enough so much as to post up my own translation (;^_^A

I'm only putting up the song, with its kana and romanization for now. Translation will follow later ^^
EDIT: [info]solitair san kindly agreed to translate this song. You can find the translation here. (thank you [info]solitair).

Ashita Hareru kana ~明日晴れるかな
So addicted to this song! Love the melody, love the lyrics, love the meaning, and love the way it's sung. Have got to find the piano score for this one -hoping there is one to find!

Yes, this is just another lyrics post. Actually, no. This is not JUST any other lyrics post. To get a logical and full meaning of this wonderful song I put together the efforts of many persons, with a bit of tweaking here and there -credits at the bottom. So, this is actually the first translation I find completely satisfying ^^ I'm not putting down others who have worked on this; they are definitely more experienced and knowledgeable than I am. But each version had 1 or 2 lines that didn't convince me much (;^_^A

I did this actually to force introduce this greatness to a friend of mine. Since it came out so nicely, why not share ^^.. (kana,romaji,translation) )
